Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Outpatient

Registered Nurse Ambulatory Family Medicine

Schedule: 5 eight-hour shifts within the hours of 7:30 AM5:30 PM.

Assignment Details: Setting: Outpatient clinic with a pediatric patient population. Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required; ambulatory and pediatrics experience preferred. First-time travelers are accepted.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with injections (IM/SQ/vaccines), EKG acquisition, POCT, vitals, phlebotomy, ear care, nasopharyngeal/throat swabs, medication reconciliation, telephone triage, dressing changes, and basic pediatric assessments is preferred.
• EPIC experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients and conducting initial assessments.
• Administering vaccinations and injections.
• Performing phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Conducting telephone triage and addressing patient inquiries.
• Assisting with basic procedures for pediatric patients.
