- Support recruitment, scheduling, outreach, and engagement strategies using culturally and developmentally appropriate communication.
- Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for individuals seeking services at Zenit Centro de Serenidad
- Assist with front-desk duties and client reception.
- Conducts in depth intakes thorough a culturally specific, trauma informed lens.
- Coordinate closely with the Clinical Supervisor and Clinic Coordinator to support smooth clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of participant interactions and services in Reliatrax (and other required systems)
- Responsible for collecting sensitive demographic information for ROADS submissions.
- Works closely with clinicians on case coordination to support with client care.
- Support clients in accessing community resources including housing, food assistance, healthcare, transportation, and substance use services.
- Carry a caseload of up to 50 clients.
- Provide skill-building support to clients and families.
- Utilize trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices in all client interactions.
- Support culturally relevant mental health education, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal staff and external partners to strengthen community support systems and improve access to care.
- Facilitate support groups and skill-building circles for clients.
- Assist clients with appointment reminders, forms, referrals, and navigation of health and social service systems.
- Advocate for clients and empower them to actively participate in their wellness goals.
- Certified as a Community Health Worker or able to complete training approved by the Oregon Health Authority and become certified within 6 months of hire.
- A combined 3 years of education and relevant work experience in the healthcare system, community health, outreach, education, social services, community engagement and social service resource navigation is required.
- Ability to meet the requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Associate as defined by the Oregon Administrative Rules and Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Strong interpersonal communication, ability to establish trust, build rapport, and communicate effectively with individuals and groups from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- A deep understanding of and respect for the cultural, linguistic, and historical contexts of Latine communities.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
- A passion for serving Latine communities and empowering individuals to achieve improved health and well-being.
- Strong attention to detail in documenting client interactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports.
- Experience with receptionist duties, medical scheduling, outreach, advocacy, or program coordination is preferred.
- Proficiency in Reliatrax electronic health record systems preferred.
- Familiarity with common mental health conditions, stigma reduction strategies, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Understanding of social determinants of health, health disparities, and approaches to address them.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in connecting individuals to resources, advocating for their needs, and guiding them through mental healthcare and social service systems.
- Reliable transportation required. Automobile, driver's license, and automobile liability insurance preferred.
- Must be eligible to be an insured driver under Latino Network's Commercial Auto Liability policy.
