Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Provide critical care to cardiovascular and surgical patients, including post-operative care
• Administer and titrate medications and drips such as Epi, norepi, propofol, and insulin
• Monitor patients' telemetry and document rhythm strips
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including intensivists and RT professionals
• Participate in patient observation roles if required

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with high acuity patient populations
• Proficiency in monitoring and titrating critical care drips
