Job Title Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehab | 13-Week Contract Location San Antonio, TX | Inpatient Rehabilitation Schedule / Job Type Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite | Weekend commitment required (minimum 2 weekends per 4-week period) Key Responsibilities Provide speech-language pathology services within a 32-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit Conduct patient evaluations and deliver individualized inpatient rehab treatments targeting ADLs and functional communication Deliver approximately 5–6 hours of direct patient treatment per day Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary therapy and nursing team including OTs, PTs, RNs, LVNs, and PCTs Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system Demonstrate flexibility, including the ability to float to other inpatient rehab settings as needed Required Qualifications Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of Texas Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation principles and practices Current BLS certification required Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment Availability to work a minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period Preferred Experience / Skills Previous experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS) experience Outgoing, flexible, and knowledgeable clinical approach well-suited to a fast-paced rehab environment Why Join Us Work within a well-established, fully staffed inpatient rehab unit supported by a large multidisciplinary clinical team Gain hands-on experience with specialized rehabilitation equipment including H200/L300 and BURT systems Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776192.
