Utilizing your seasoned team building skills, the Sr Advanced Program Performance Management Specialist will utilize required experiences with an integrated performance management, schedule management, or subject matter expert focus. Essentially, you'll lead a team in contract/program cost and schedule development and management/analysis for developing engineering programs for critical major components, or production or logistics programs for a large custom subsystems or small total systems. The scope of the programs will have a contract value typically at $20-50M per year, with total program value of $50-300M. You'll lead the development of the program cost and/or schedule baselines within the contract parameters, the analysis of program performance (historical and predictive), the monitoring of the contract/program estimate at completion, and the review of results and recommendations to program teams.Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.What You'll ExperienceTechnologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secretA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's nextOpportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discoveredA highly visible role supporting major defense and government programs, typically valued between $50M and $300M.Ownership of integrated master schedules and support for program cost forecasting, performance baselines, and Estimates at Completion (EACs).Close partnership with program managers and cross-functional teams to connect schedules, resources, budgets, material plans, risks, and customer commitments.Opportunities to analyze performance trends, anticipate delays or cost pressures, and help teams build realistic recovery plans.A collaborative environment where you can improve scheduling and EVMS practices, mentor others, and strengthen program execution.What You Bring To The TableA Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years relevant experienceAdvanced user in EVMS and scheduling tools and principlesExperience in coordination of program requirements across planning stages with several subcontractors across distinct product linesStrong experience developing and managing integrated master schedules, work breakdown structures, program performance baselines, and time-phased budgetsKnowledge of scheduling and cost-analysis principles, including critical path analysis, resource loading, schedule health checks, risk analysis, EACs, and earned value management (EVMS).Proficiency with Microsoft Office—especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word—and experience with MS Project, Primavera, or comparable scheduling, financial, and EVMS tools.Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.Exceptional experience with DCMA auditsWhat Sets You ApartCreative thinking with the ability to multi-taskYou can connect schedule performance with cost, staffing, material availability, subcontractor work, and program delivery commitments.You can analyze cost and schedule trends, explain variances, support forecast updates, and identify risks and opportunities early.You have experience preparing performance reports and schedule or cost documentation for customer reviews, internal leadership, and EVMS or DCMA audits.You are comfortable guiding teams through schedule development, milestone planning, budget updates, status reporting, and the impact of program changes.You bring a proactive, collaborative approach to solving problems, resolving competing priorities, and keeping teams focused on delivery and financial goals.Commitment to ongoing professional developmentTeam player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team successIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovationSalary NoteThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
