Lead Inspector WORK 4 DAYS EVERY WEEK! Are you a meticulous Quality Inspector with experience in a manufacturing environment? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Cheshire, CT Quality Inspector Pay: $ 28/hour DOE Quality Inspector Hours: Mon - Fri, 7- 3:30 PM (flexible hours from 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Mon - Thurs. With Friday overtime Quality Inspector Key Responsibilities:
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $27.00 Per Hour
- Perform thorough quality inspections in an oily production environment, including drawing and cleaning samples from CNC machines.
- Utilize mechanical gauging and comparators proficiently.
- Conduct the first article and set up inspections with precision.
- Interpret mechanical drawings accurately.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, particularly with documentation.
- Track internal and external calibration using GageTrak.
- Collaborate effectively with all disciplines within the manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a machining or screw machine environment.
- Proficiency in Geometric Tolerancing is a must.
- Experience with CMM and/or optical equipment (PC-DMIS) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a plus.
