About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary and experienced Dean for its College of Arts and Humanities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and fostering a culture of shared governance within the college. This role involves working closely with faculty, staff, and students to develop and implement new and exciting strategic initiatives that will enhance the college's reputation and impact. The Dean will also be tasked with ensuring the academic and administrative success of the college, including overseeing budgetary and resource management, and promoting a diverse and inclusive environment. Applicants for the Dean position at the College of Arts and Humanities should have a proven track record of academic leadership, a deep understanding of the arts and humanities disciplines, and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a champion of innovation in teaching, research, and community engagement, and will have the ability to inspire and support faculty and students in their academic and creative pursuits. A doctoral degree in a relevant field is required, along with a strong record of scholarly achievement and a history of effective management in an academic setting. The Dean must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to represent the college and the university with integrity and professionalism.
