Lead Manufacturing Specialist - Production Supervision (2nd Shift)

Job Description Summary

The Lead Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) will work in a production shop environment to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Green Cell is undergoing a transformation during 2026-2027, as we are moving our T700 Midframe production line across the plant to implement 4 single-piece flow lines, which will expose them to lean principles and techniques. In addition, Green Cell has 6 NPI hardware components being introduced (T700 Exhaust Frame, T700 Spacer Ring, F110 components, and T901 components). This is an invaluable opportunity to be in a dynamic area with regular report outs and visibility to senior leadership. The Production Supervisor will be coached and given autonomy to have a fulfilling role with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow. High opportunity area for RCCA and process improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees. Typically managing hourly employee populations.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college + 3 years' experience in manufacturing leadership (OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing)

• Established management skills: accountability of assigned team; capability to leverage LEAN processes, including standard work, 5S and visual management.

The base pay range for this position is 105,050.00 - 120,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 10, 2026.
