Senior Software Engineer

Job Role: Senior Software Engineer (Python, Angular & Neo4j) Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite, mandatory) Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software development and a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, Neo4j/Cypher, and SQL databases, with experience working in Agile environments and modern cloud-based development practices. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services. Build backend solutions using Python and Node.js. Develop frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript. Design and optimize graph database solutions using Neo4j and Cypher. Work with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and application performance improvements. Required Skills 5+ years of software development experience. Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms. Python TypeScript, Node.js, Angular Neo4j and Cypher SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud platforms Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills COBOL or Mainframe experience LLM/RAG experience Java Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Compensation and Benefits A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
