Job Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native services with a strong emphasis on resilience, fault tolerance, and observability.
• Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver a reliable, scalable service with high quality.
• Ensure alignment with the technical design and the overall technology roadmap while adopting best practices effectively and independently.
• Respond to and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud service development.
• Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar object‑oriented languages.
• Prior experience with API and microservices is highly desirable.
• Experience with AWS/K8s and Kotlin a plus.

Pay Transparency Disclosure

Pay Range (Base Pay): $165,000 - $248,000

Other Types of Pay: Based on level and role the employee may be eligible for long‑term incentives in the form of equity and short‑term incentives of either bonus or commission.

Retirement Benefits: 401(k) plan

Paid Time Off: Talkdesk offers an uncapped paid time off program, subject to manager approval and consistent with business needs.
