Excavator Operator As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. This job requires a high level of skill and experience in operating excavators, as well as knowledge of safety procedures and regulations. Responsibilities Operate excavator to dig trenches, load trucks, and perform other tasks as directed Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times Monitor and maintain fuel levels, fluid levels, and other necessary materials for equipment operation Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency Keep work area clean and organized Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to supervisor immediately Adhere to project timelines and deadlines Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred At least 1 year of experience operating excavators in a construction setting Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding job specifications Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solvingFlexibility to work overtime when necessary Must have own transportation Salary $1500 per month Location This job is located in the United States.
