Reading Interventionist (Elementary)

As an interventionist, you will be responsible for supporting student achievement by providing individual or small-group instruction to students who are in need of additional support. Interventionists are responsible for providing consistent, intensive, and targeted supplementary instruction to identified students while monitoring, reporting, and communicating progress and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesActively participate in professional development opportunities and implements best practices acquired that focus on instruction and high student achievementProvide instruction that is culturally responsive and culturally sustainingBuilds relationships with students to create a positive, structured learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to growActively engage parents in the learning process and works collaboratively with familiesUse data to refine lesson plans and inform instructional practicesBachelor’s Degree and valid Michigan teaching certification with endorsement in content areaEligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basisExperience with project-based learning preferredHow do we support you?Our education teams are critical to our ability to serve our scholars well.
