Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates Complete accurate quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns across all trades. Review drawings, specifications and project scope to ensure fully compliant and complete estimates. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring accurate scope coverage and competitive pricing. Support the preconstruction team with budgeting, cost analysis, and value-engineering recommendations. Develop and maintain historical cost data and benchmarking tools for improved pricing accuracy. Prepare bid packages, proposals, scope clarifications, and supporting documentation. Participate in design coordination meetings and collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners. Assist with risk assessment, scheduling assumptions, phasing, and site logistics planning. Required Experience & Qualifications 10+ years of estimating experience in Municipal or Industrial construction Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and multi-phase project sequencing. Proficiency with industry estimating tools such as On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and prepare accurate, reliable estimates. Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset.
