Avika Billing Solutions, LLC is seeking an IT Student/Intern to support internal technology initiatives and help keep systems running smoothly in a collaborative, learning-focused environment. Willing to learn and perfect new technologies needed for day to day operations. Research and find ways to better daily operations reducing time and increasing efficiency. Assist project manager with development and deployment tasks

In this hybrid role based in Spring, TX, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals to help resolve common technical issues, contribute to routine maintenance tasks, and learn how IT supports business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end users, helping troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

• Assist with device setup and deployment, including basic configuration and asset tracking.

• Support routine maintenance tasks such as backups verification, software updates, and system monitoring checks.

• Help document troubleshooting steps and maintain clear, organized records of support requests and outcomes.

• Coordinate with the IT team to follow internal processes and support time-sensitive user needs.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a similar educational program and able to commit to full-time or part-time hours.

• Basic understanding of computer systems and common troubleshooting approaches.

• Comfort interacting with users in a professional, service-oriented manner.

• Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and complete assigned tasks with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some experience with IT support, internships, coursework projects, or hands-on technical training.

• Familiarity with operating system fundamentals and basic networking concepts.

• Experience using ticketing or support request workflows (or coursework exposure).

• Interest in cybersecurity practices such as credential safety, device hygiene, and secure handling of information.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $18.00 - $25.00
