Project Administrator

Responsibilities The Project Administrator provides support to the Project Management team by performing multiple tasks on a project as assigned by their supervisor. Depending on the project and the Project Administrator's abilities, they will take an increasing role and responsibility for the project. Project Administrators should be efficient in their work with supervision. Become more aware of responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines. Reaches out to the supervisor when overloaded or does not have enough workload. Present a positive customer and employee service attitude and understanding of ECS Core Values. Manages the administrative tasks associated with a project, including, but not limited to, proposal and project registration, invoicing setup, coordinating project resources, and more Uses ECS systems in the coordination of project resources, management of project paperwork and documentation, and maintaining project schedules and budgets Coordinates internal communications with staff members on a variety of projects, as requested Actively mentors junior staff and supports overall development of the team Attends project meetings with senior staff and assists with resolutions to administrative problems Communicates with client and external team members consistently Assists in managing project budgets, preparing invoices, and collection efforts Prioritizes tasks to meet project deadlines Consults with your supervisor to help prioritize tasks on a daily basis Assists in project and contract management Assists in managing project budgets Hosts or attends project discussions with clients, follow up on reports to determine if there are questions Qualifications Required Qualifications 2 years of related experience High school diploma or GED required Bachelor of Business or related field is preferred If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required Excellent oral & written communication skills Basic project management and contract administration skills Dependable, self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work effectively in teams, with clients, peers and subordinates, as well as independently Excellent interpersonal skills Basic decision-making skills Work with supervisor to understand priorities and urgency of work Military Qualifications The following US Military ranks would qualify for this position: E-4 About Us ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
