Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is perfect for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who thrives in educational environments and enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Work alongside a dedicated onsite Occupational Therapist and serve a diverse caseload of students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Enjoy a full-time schedule, working 37.5 to 40 hours per week, on a 186-day contract beginning in August. You’ll have the opportunity to provide support across two to three schools, making each day varied and rewarding. Manage a manageable caseload of 55 students, contributing to their communication goals and overall development.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA, with experience in school-based or healthcare settings.
• Experience or proficiency in teletherapy is a plus.
• Strong understanding of school-based speech and language services and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including collaboration with OTs, educators, and family members.
• Compassion for students at varying ability levels and from diverse backgrounds.
• Candidates must submit two letters of recommendation and a sample report (student identifiers removed).

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services.
• Conduct evaluations, assess progress, and develop/implement IEP goals.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families.
• Serve students at two to three sites within the district.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation.
