Director of Marketing and Communications

Job Description
An investment bank focused on the insurance sector, with an equity research desk and an M&A advisory practice, is hiring its first dedicated marketing leader . Reporting to the C-suite, you'll build the playbook for research distribution, deal marketing, digital presence and investor events.
\n \nWHAT YOU'LL OWN
\n- \n
- Distribute equity research and morning notes to institutional clients, and grow the CRM behind it \n
- Produce pitch books, teasers and tombstones for M&A mandates after FINRA clearance \n
- Own the website, LinkedIn and firm collateral under one visual and editorial standard \n
- Work with the firm's AI leadership on how the firm appears in AI-assisted search \n
- Plan investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and insurance industry events \n
- Build the approval and recordkeeping process with Compliance and Legal \n
WHAT THE FIRM IS LOOKING FOR
\n- \n
- 4+ years in marketing or communications , ideally at a sell-side research firm, investment bank or asset manager \n
- Familiarity with FINRA-regulated communications \n
- Salesforce or a research distribution platform, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite or Canva \n
- Writing that turns technical insurance and financial content into clear client-facing material \n
- Financial services fluency. Bachelor's degree preferred, insurance knowledge a strong plus \n
