(Hiring)Respiratory Care Practitioner We are seeking an Respiratory Care Practitionerto join our team!You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans Monitorand report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians orspecialists regarding patientcare Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Facilitatereferrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members Qualifications: Graduate of a program in respiratory therapy approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association. Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association 2 yearsFull time hospital based acute care Respiratory Care Practitioner experience that includes Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Child Birth Center, Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and PACU.
