About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Community Services to take on a pivotal role in defining and leading the organization's vision, strategy, and direction for community services. This includes ensuring that programs and resources are in place to meaningfully improve the quality of life for its members and the broader community. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping how the company serves its members, with a focus on the evolving needs of the Ataxia community. The role involves leading a national team, overseeing a diverse portfolio, and integrating strategy, data, and collaboration to build an innovative and scalable approach to community services. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Community Services position at the company will have a background in healthcare, nonprofit, or a related field, with experience in community services, advocacy, or nonprofit leadership. Experience in areas such as rare diseases, neurology, chronic illness, patient or member support, and care coordination is highly valued. The role is remote, allowing the VP to be based anywhere in the United States, and requires a leader who can connect with compassion and is committed to the mission of supporting those affected by Ataxia.
