Counter UAS Analyst

Position Description & Qualifications Are you looking to be part of a mission-focused team at the forefront of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (cUAS) operations? Serco is seeking a Military Analyst to support Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) 401 in advancing Department of Defense and interagency efforts to detect, assess, and counter emerging unmanned aircraft system threats. As a Military Analyst, You Will Apply your operational, analytical, and planning expertise to support senior military and civilian leaders in a dynamic joint and interagency environment. Conduct research and analysis of evolving UAS threats, adversary capabilities, vulnerabilities, and likely courses of action to inform operational planning and decision-making. Develop and coordinate staff products including briefings, operational assessments, CONOPS/CONEMP inputs, RFIs, tasking responses, and strategic recommendations supporting the cUAS mission. Work directly with Government customers, military personnel, and interagency partners to synchronize activities, support planning efforts, and provide actionable insights across air, land, maritime, and homeland defense mission areas. T Thrive in a high-tempo headquarters environment, demonstrate sound judgment, communicate effectively with senior leaders, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to address evolving UAS threats. To Be Successful In This Role, You Must Have Bachelor's degree. Five (5) years of military, operational planning, air defense, aviation, or related analytical experience. Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Experience supporting joint, interagency, combatant command, service headquarters, or equivalent operational organizations. Knowledge of UAS/cUAS operations, planning, threat analysis, and operational assessments is highly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop clear, concise, and decision-ready products for senior leaders. Ability to travel up to 25%. Additional Desired Qualifications Background in military or civilian aviation operations, including Air Traffic Control (ATC), airspace management, air battle management, aviation planning, airfield operations, flight operations, or air operations center activities. Knowledge of airspace management, aviation regulations, aircraft operations, and command and control processes applicable to military or homeland defense missions. Military or civilian Air Traffic Control experience is valued due to the operational understanding of airspace management, aircraft identification, flight operations, air surveillance, and command and control processes that directly support Counter-UAS mission requirements.
