Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in West Palm Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue01:00 PM - 06:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 06:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 06:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 06:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 06:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor and report security-related conditions, equipment concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity through required documentation and communication channels. Control access to designated areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Guard card is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at 21+ years of age for role. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
