Position Overview

Physical Injury Recovery Rehab is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse patient populations, contributing to their recovery and rehabilitation journeys. Key Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist will conduct thorough patient assessments, determining each individual's therapeutic needs and capabilities as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• You will develop, implement, and adjust personalized care plans that focus on achieving specific rehabilitation goals and enhancing patient engagement and satisfaction.
• Providing a majority of the physical therapy interventions, you will guide patients through evidence-based therapeutic exercises, ensuring compliance with the physician's care plan.
• Utilizing your clinical expertise, you will perform evaluations and continuous evaluations of rehabilitative progress, adjusting treatment protocols based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• You will instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the use of therapeutic modalities, exercises, and equipment necessary for continuation of care at home.
• In addition to direct patient care, you will prioritize caseload management, organize daily staffing requirements, and coordinate meaningful hand-offs between therapy staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to adult patients. You will address a wide array of conditions, from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. You will be empowered to adjust your therapy techniques to meet the individual needs of each patient, fostering a personalized approach to recovery that emphasizes patient well-being and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Experience

• While no prior experience is required for this position, candidates with internship or clinical experience in rehabilitation settings will be preferred.
• Experience working with a variety of rehabilitation methodologies and techniques is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
