You’ll work alongside top trauma surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to deliver rapid, precise, and compassionate care.You will be responsible for managing a caseload of trauma patients during surgical procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile protocols, safety standards, and surgical best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct and specialized nursing care to trauma patients during surgical interventionsCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure seamless coordination during proceduresPrepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and instrumentsDocument patient care activities accurately and in real timeMaintain knowledge of surgical techniques, emergency protocols, and instrumentationSupport post-operative handoffs and transitions to appropriate recovery unitsRemain calm and effective under pressure in high-stress, time-sensitive situationsQualificationsCurrent Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure (per Florida Board of Nursing requirements)Graduate of an accredited nursing program RequiredBLS and ACLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days of hire) RequiredMinimum 2 years of acute care experience in Trauma OR or Operating Room RequiredStrong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and teamwork skillsScheduleFull-Time NightsRotating Weekends flexibility required for trauma coverage needsCompensation & IncentivesHourly Rate: $39.57 $53.34 (Based on 17+ years of experience)Sign-On Bonus: May be available on a case-by-case basisAdditional benefits available through our healthcare partner, including health, dental, retirement, and moreWhy Global Placement Firm?At Global Placement Firm, we specialize in placing top-tier healthcare professionals in career-defining roles across the country.
