Field Service TechnicianLocation: Tonawanda, NY Salary: $70,000 - $90,000/yearSchedule:Standard Hours: One daily shift, generally between 7:00–8:00 AM and 4:00–5:00 PMOvertime: Occasionally required during customer interventions; no night shifts expectedWeekends: Emergency interventions may occasionally extend into Saturday or SundayStandard installations follow a Monday–Friday scheduleFor overseas or long-distance assignments, technicians may be required to remain on-site over the weekend, even if not actively workingOn average, travel may require being away 1–2 weekends per monthJoin Our TeamWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tonawanda, NY. This role focuses on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of advanced freeze-drying equipment used in industrial and pharmaceutical environments. If you enjoy working with complex machinery and delivering high-quality technical service, we encourage you to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of freeze-drying equipmentTroubleshoot system errors and failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsSupport equipment installation and commissioning at customer sitesAssist with equipment production, testing, and customer support when not travelingMaintain accurate service documentation and recordsProvide on-call technical support per service agreementsRepresent the company professionally at all customer locationsDevelop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationshipsRequired Skills & ExperienceTechnical certificate in electro-mechanical or process disciplines OR an Associate degree in a technical field with 3–5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent hands-on experience)Understanding of control systems, including PC- and PLC-based architecturesExperience installing, commissioning, and maintaining complex industrial equipmentAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and drawingsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independentlyHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and customer-facing skillsWillingness to travel extensively and provide on-call support as requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience working in FDA-regulated or other highly controlled environments (pharmaceutical, biotech, etc.)Familiarity with freeze-drying processesStrong commitment to quality, safety, and long-term customer satisfactionAbout Us:PrideNow is Pride Global's light industrial staffing organization, a distinguished division within the Pride Global umbrella.Aligned with the overarching mission of Pride Global, we specialize in delivering top-tier human resources and workforce solutions to the light industrial industry.
