We are currently seeking a highly skilled Proofreader to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Proofreader, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing various documents to ensure accuracy and consistency. This role requires a keen eye for detail and excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills. You will work closely with our team of writers, editors, and designers to ensure that all materials are error-free and meet our high standards of quality. Responsibilities Review and edit a variety of documents, including reports, proposals, presentations, and marketing materials Check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and tone Verify facts, statistics, and references Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to make necessary changes Follow company style guidelines and ensure documents adhere to industry standards Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the content team Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field Proven experience as a proofreader or editor Excellent command of the English language Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Familiarity with AP Style and Chicago Manual of Style Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Previous experience in a consulting or professional services firm is a plus We offer a competitive salary and a flexible part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.
