Position Highlights Patient Centered Care: Approximately 12 patients per day in an outpatient setting, allowing for in-depth, personalized care. Regular Hours: Typical shift M‑F, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, no call, protected administrative time. Interdisciplinary Team: Work alongside Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health clinicians, Nurses and other healthcare professionals, leveraging a team‑based approach to patient care. Teaching Opportunities: Engage in teaching, helping to shape the future of medicine by mentoring young professionals. Loan Repayment Program: Qualified candidates may be eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200 K over a 5‑year period). Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered medical care to Veterans. Manage approximately 12 patients per day in an outpatient setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care. Participate in teaching and mentorship of trainees and junior clinicians. Maintain structured schedules and protected administrative time. Qualifications MD or DO degree. Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia. United States citizenship required; non‑citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA policy. Selective Service Registration required for males born after 12/31/1959. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Ready to complete a background check, security clearance, and/or drug screening. Completion of an online onboarding process required for selected applicants.
