This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate resident records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the clinical team with medical documentation needs.The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while providing excellent administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Position ResponsibilitiesMaintain and organize resident medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirementsEnsure medical records are accurate, complete, and up to dateProcess admissions, discharges, and transfers by preparing and updating resident chartsFile, scan, and retrieve medical documents as neededAssist with chart audits and record reviews to ensure complianceCoordinate with nursing, therapy, and administrative departments regarding documentation requirementsProtect resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulationsAssist with record requests and release of information proceduresSupport survey preparation and regulatory compliance effortsPerform other administrative duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or skilled nursing preferredKnowledge of medical terminology preferredFamiliarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plusStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applicationsWhat We OfferCompetitive pay of $27.00 -$37.00 per hourFlexible part-time scheduleSupportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentOngoing training and educationThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact in resident careWhy Medical Hill Healthcare Center?At Medical Hill Healthcare Center, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents.
