Director, Strategic Finance & CFO Advisory

Sentry Solutions works closely with its sister company, Sentry Ventures (SV), to deploy capital in support of its clients and capture growth opportunities that exist beyond advisory services. The Opportunity: S2 is seeking another Director-level hire. We are looking for a senior finance professional to assume ownership of the analytical and operational work across our existing client portfolio, grow into primary client relationships on a defined timeline, and ultimately build and lead a junior team as the practice expands. This is a platform opportunity, not a conventional hire. The Director joins with existing client engagements from day one, a clear and documented path to Managing Director, and the economics to match. The right candidate is motivated by building a book of their own - not by executing a fixed scope inside a larger firm. How the Role Evolves: Phase 1 - Execution & Onboarding (Months 1-6) The Director's immediate priority is to own all analytical and operational deliverables across S2's active client portfolio. Assume full ownership of financial analysis, modeling, reporting, and operational finance deliverables for existing client engagements Work closely with the other Partners to understand each client's business, priorities, history, and relationship context Deliver against S2's quality and timing standards with minimal oversight Establish personal working relationships with client's finance and operations teams Phase 2 - Client Relationship Transition (Months 3-9) As the Director demonstrates mastery of the work, they will begin to assume direct client-facing responsibility in a structured, deliberate transition.
