Job Description Job Description The physician in the Complex Care Clinic is responsible for providing exceptional, patient-focused, team-oriented primary care to a diverse group of over 400 patients who are medically intricate and at high risk. This position prioritizes value-driven care, management of population health, chronic illness oversight, and coordination of care throughout the healthcare continuum. Services are delivered in an outpatient environment through in-person, home, and virtual consultations. The chosen physician will join our organization’s medical group, which consists of nearly 700 healthcare providers across various specialties. Our organization, based in Akron, Ohio, stands as one of the largest integrated healthcare delivery systems in the state, featuring two hospitals and over 20 health centers that ensure accessible care throughout the area. Position Highlights Full-time position (1.0 FTE), operating Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts Exclusively outpatient; managing 6 to 8 patients daily Main office located at 75 Arch Street, Akron, OH, with limited travel to satellite locations Comprehensive support from an interdisciplinary team Strong partnerships with community resources Deliver ongoing primary care for patients facing complex medical, behavioral, and social challenges Minimum Qualifications Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license in Ohio A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in primary care, hospital medicine, or complex care management following residency Outstanding communication and patient engagement abilities, particularly in collaboration with caregivers and families We encourage interested candidates to submit their CV for consideration.
