Senior Construction Manager / Municipal Construction Services Leader

In response to the steady growth of our team in the West Region (Arizona, California, Washington) GHD is looking for a Construction Manager Lead with proven on time and budget delivery capabilities. You will provide GHD’s construction phase support services to new and existing clients on multiple simultaneous projects with a construction value of up to $10M each. Responsibilities Construction Management: for water, transportation, coastal, environmental, and energy projects throughout the region, including stages from planning to construction. Business development opportunities, lead procurement efforts including proposals and interview preparation. Insights and Reporting: design and create reporting strategies and templates, lead execution of complex reports, translate insights into actionable recommendations. Construction Advice: provide specialist advice on regulations and best practice for maintenance, alteration, and construction of buildings. Construction Project Budgeting: develop, deliver and manage budget plans; monitor and perform budget progress and post‑calculations. Knowledge Management: develop policies, create best practices, deliver internal knowledge‑sharing sessions. Personal Capability Building: act as subject matter expert, maintain accreditations, pursue CPD. Bid Solicitation / RFP / Tender Analysis: conduct feasibility studies, write specifications for tenders. Operational Compliance: monitor and review performance, resolve non‑compliance. Client & Customer Management: manage relationships with guidance from senior colleagues. Education & Experience Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent. Minimum 15 years as Construction Manager and/or Resident Engineer on multiple simultaneous construction projects. Current Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. CCM certification a plus.
