About the Role
Your day starts with a quick walk-through of the building: you spot a door that needs attention, a light that flickers, and a prep station in the kitchen running a little hot. By mid-morning, you’re diagnosing a piece of kitchen equipment, using your troubleshooting instincts to isolate the issue. After lunch, you touch up paint in a high-traffic hallway, assemble a new fixture by carefully following the installation guide, and head outdoors to tidy the grounds with some basic landscaping. Before you wrap, you climb a ladder to check a ceiling vent and lift a boxed unit—well within your 80 lb capacity—into place for tomorrow’s install.
What You’ll Take On- General building maintenance across the facility
- Diagnosing and addressing issues with kitchen equipment
- Performing basic electrical tasks
- Handling basic plumbing work
- Completing basic landscaping to keep outdoor areas neat
- Painting as needed to maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Taking on hands-on tasks, including toilet repairs and bio-spill cleanup
- Working safely at heights using ladders
- Lifting and moving items up to 80 lbs
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently
- Reading and following assembly and installation instructions
- Repairing doors
You’re practical, steady under pressure, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves—whether it’s a leaky toilet, a door that won’t close right, or a stubborn piece of equipment in the kitchen. You read instructions with care, work methodically, and keep safety in mind when lifting or climbing.
