Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Vivo Healthcare Harbourwood, a leading provider of post-acute and rehabilitation care in Clearwater, FL. As a Registered Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care to a diverse population of patients, including long-term care, rehabilitation, and post-acute care patients

• Supervise and manage a team of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants

• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans to ensure comprehensive and individualized care for patients

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review process to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, staff performance, and inventory management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida

• At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year of experience in a unit management role

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent patient assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
