Details Work in the HVTI-Stepdown unit of a hospital setting Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population Day/Night rotating 3x12 hour shifts (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30), which may vary to meet operational needs Every other holiday coverage required Requirements Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably within one location 18 months of recent stepdown experience required; travel experience accepted PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only Additional Information Provide nursing care to stepdown patients within a hospital environment ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date RTO must be discussed and finalized prior to starting the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-750444.
