Job Title: CMM Programmer
Location: Midland, Georgia (Onsite)
Experience: 3 5+ Years
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CMM Programmer with strong Calypso/Camio, Hexagon/PC-DMIS, CMM programming, GD&T, and aerospace metrology experience. The candidate will develop and validate CMM programs, perform dimensional inspection of complex aerospace components, support FAI, and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, edit, and validate complex CMM programs using Calypso/Camio and related metrology software.
- Perform dimensional inspection of aerospace components including blades, vanes, disks, rings, cases, and seals.
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, GD&T, and OEM specifications.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102 and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Perform CMM program validation, correlation studies, repeatability checks, and measurement analysis.
- Support quality, manufacturing, and machining teams in resolving dimensional and tolerance issues.
- Develop CMM templates, macros, and automated inspection routines to improve efficiency.
- Support corrective actions, root cause analysis, SPC/MSA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with tight-tolerance and complex aerospace materials such as Inconel, Waspaloy, and Titanium .
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
