The NHMLAC is seeking a Senior Producer, Exhibitions for our Exhibition department. The Senior Producer, Exhibitions will lead complex initiatives supporting major exhibition, capital, experiential, and institutional priorities.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Strategic Project Leadership & Delivery: Provide project leadership and execution support for complex initiatives that require additional coordination, specialized expertise, or capacity beyond existing departmental resources.
• Planning, Budget & Consultant Management: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, contracts, resource plans, and reporting tools to monitor project performance, support decision-making, and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Project Advancement: Serve as the Exhibitions Department representative for assigned projects, ensuring alignment between project outcomes and institutional priorities.
• Advancement & Partnerships: Support stakeholder and partnership development efforts by preparing project-related presentations, proposals, and materials for leadership, donors, external collaborators, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access): Support the integration of inclusive, accessible, and audience-centered practices throughout project planning and implementation.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible leadership of complex projects or initiatives within museums, cultural institutions, experiential design, architecture, construction, themed entertainment, or related industries.
• A track record of creating structure and advancing initiatives in situations where scope, processes, or organizational pathways are still evolving.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and external partners to advance projects within complex organizational environments involving multiple departments, competing priorities, and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Success managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement processes, and consultant or vendor relationships.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies, project delivery processes, stakeholder engagement strategies, and collaboration tools.

The salary range for this position is $109,740-$118,000 with excellent benefits. This is a full-time temporary, exempt position.
