Position Summary
The CNC Laser Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production, while also performing routine inspections and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Shift & Pay Differential
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
- 2nd shift position.
- Standard hours are TBD.
- A 15% shift differential applies to all eligible hours worked on 2nd

Responsibilities
- Load, set up, and operate CNC laser cutting machines to process metal materials according to technical drawings and production requirements.
- Select and load appropriate cutting programs, set machine parameters, and adjust laser beam focal points for optimal results.
- Perform dimensional inspections, monitor machine performance, and ensure finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Implement changes to machine programs, and enter new specifications, using computers.
- Lift workpieces to machines manually or with hoists.
- Stack finished items for further processing or shipment.
- Operate forklift to move materials.
- Perform secondary operations as required.

- High school diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with CNC laser cutting equipment, including troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
- Ability to use and read precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Competence in using relevant software for programming and managing laser cutting files.
- High level of precision and focus to ensure quality and efficiency.
