SIGN SERVICE & INSTALLATION TECHNICIANN.A.S. Sign Company, Inc.1574 Kenmore Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14216N.A.S. Sign Company is seeking a dependable, hardworking Sign Service & Install Technician to join our team full-time. Candidates should have 3 years of experience in electrical work, sign service, HVAC, technical service, construction, carpentry, or related building trades. Experience with metal fabrication is helpful but not required.This position involves both shop and field work, including sign installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication assistance, and emergency service calls. Applicants must be safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working outdoors and at heights in all weather conditions.N.A.S. Sign Company is looking for motivated individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, reliability, and teamwork.Pay & BenefitsFull-Time Position$20.00- $35.00 per hour, based on experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to work on your feet all dayComfortable working outdoors in rain, snow, cold, and windy conditionsLift and handle 10–50 lb. signs regularlyWork safely on:Ladders (10'–25')Bucket trucks (15'–75' )ScaffoldingScissor lifts and other aerial equipmentUse power tools safely and effectivelyGood vision and hand coordination requiredMust be able to drive in all weather conditionsMust be able to tow and drive trailersSkills & QualificationsLearn and follow OSHA sign safety proceduresPlan and schedule materials and labor weeklyInstall and service fluorescent, neon, and LED signageKnowledge of fasteners and wall construction typesCut and braze steel using torchesWelding experience preferredBasic sheet metal layout, fabrication, and welding (MIG/aluminum)Plastic fabrication and assemblyRead blueprints, architectural, structural, and electrical drawingsUnderstand structural and installation conceptsPaint plastics, metals, and wood surfacesBasic primary electrical knowledgeNeon and fluorescent secondary electrical troubleshootingRead and follow written and verbal instructionsComplete work orders, time sheets, and job reports accuratelyFollow company policies and procedures consistently
