Facilities Maintenance Technician IThe AZEK Company/Return Polymers Ashland, Ohio division is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician, under the direction of plant engineer, will be responsible for conducting scheduled maintenance, repairing equipment, documenting maintenance and repair on lines within their shift. The Maintenance Technician must/will possess skills, knowledge and experience related to working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic within a large, 24/7 manufacturing environment.Core Responsibilities:Must maintain a safety-first attitude and follow all company safety requirements.Ensures production lines and other equipment are always maintained and able to runCompletes work requests as defined by plant engineer, plant manager and shift leaders.Services lines by completing daily preventative maintenance.Contributes to line commissioning after maintenance/process eventsAssumes a strong role in the understanding and implementation of plant projectsOperates in a manner that provides value to the teamPerforms additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/managementComplete tasks with other maintenance personnel while working within a team environment.Qualifications:3 or more years in a similar positionProven experience in working with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and PneumaticStrong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environmentForklift certifiedAbility to read electrical/mechanical drawings a plusStrong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionallyExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesStrong mathematical skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectivelyMust be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environmentWork schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the businessStrong electrical/mechanical aptitudeEducation Requirements:High school diploma/GED required.Benefits:Competitive CompensationMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance AvailablePaid Holidays, Vacation and Sick Pay401-K with Company MatchReferral Bonus and Attendance BonusFull-time Career: AM/PM Mon-Thu & Fri-Sun shifts availableCurrent Open Positions include: Recycling Operators, Warehouse Operators, Maintenance Techs, SupervisorsThe schedule for this position is 6:45pm to 7:15am, Thur-Sat.
