About the Role

The Company is in search of a Director or Vice President of Leasing to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial retail leasing team, which includes a small internal team and a larger field team, to drive rents and deal volume. This role involves procuring tenants for the company's extensive property portfolio, with a focus on build-to-suit NNN development, leasing existing retail space, and retail strip center acquisitions and development. The ideal candidate should be highly driven, possess outstanding organizational and communication skills, and have the ability to manage and motivate a team of leasing agents to ensure the company's leasing success. Applicants for the Director or Vice President of Leasing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, with a preference for a degree in a related field. A minimum of 5 years' real estate experience, including at least 3 years in leasing or sales team management, is required. The role demands a candidate with a comprehensive knowledge of lease review and renewal procedures, strong negotiation skills, and familiarity with real estate software such as CoStar and CRM platforms. National retail tenant relationships are also preferred. The position is full-time, on-site, and may require some travel. The company is looking for a candidate who is adept at process improvement and can enhance leasing outcomes through their own relationships and those of the leasing agents.
