With a contract extending through the 26/27 school year, you’ll collaborate closely with dedicated staff and families, ensuring every child receives the personalized instruction and care they deserve.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia SRT4 or higher teaching license required
• Current GaPSC certification
• Experience or strong interest in K-5 special education settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create accommodating, individualized learning plans
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, positive classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver engaging and effective instruction for students with learning differences in K-5th grade
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to facilitate inclusion and progress
• Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and related services providers
• Maintain open communication with parents/caregivers regarding student development
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and IEP meetings
