Elementary Special Education Teacher – Jesup, GA

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support a school district in Jesup, Georgia for the remainder of the school year. This full-time position will support students at the elementary level in a K–5 setting.

Position Details:

Location: Jesup, GA
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of School Year
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 35 hours per week
Grade Levels: K–5
Setting: Elementary School

Job Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction to K–5 students based on individual learning needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Adapt lessons and instructional materials to support students with varying abilities
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and other school staff
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with parents and guardians
Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
Appropriate Georgia Special Education teaching certification or eligibility
Previous elementary or special education experience preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
