Qualifications:

• Hold an active GA SRT4 or higher teaching license
• Possess current GaPSC certification
• Previous experience working in special education settings preferred
• Skilled at developing and modifying IEPs
• Strong communication skills for engaging with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Passion for fostering academic and social-emotional growth in diverse learners

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support for K-5 students in accordance with IEPs
• Adapt curriculum to meet students’ unique learning needs and strengths
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Monitor progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Maintain accurate records, participate in meetings, and ensure compliance with local/state/federal guidelines

Position Details:

• 35 hours per week
• Full 26/27 school year, with an immediate start date available
• Onsite, fostering relationships directly with students and staff in a supportive setting
