Working with fiberglass springs - on bus line - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts
Position Purpose: Ability to operate equipment, conduct required quality checks and interpreting production work orders
Essential Functions:
- Operate production machines and equipment following accepted practices
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment, such as, overhead hoists
- Make machine set-ups as required
- Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required
- Use of basic power tools such as an impact drill and wrench
- Must be able to use a Bill of Materials to build units using proper materials and parts
- Accurately report daily activities on work orders and basic data entry
- Must understand how to interpret and use production work orders
- Conduct required quality checks using a tape measurer (basic measurement equipment)
- Comply with the Quality Management System, 1st piece Inspection
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain regular attendance
Education and Training
- High school diploma or GED required
