Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.We have an opening for a Senior Tech Manufacturing / Operations in our Production Facility in Goleta, California, that is involved in the packaging of IR detectors for high reliability space, military and commercial applications. You will train to become a skilled Final Test Technician in a variety of processes as assigned by management. You will be tasked with performing several different types of tests while utilizing different procedures and software. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.What You Will DoUnder general supervision you will apply intermediate skills, may adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, etc. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.Solves basic problems and conduct test measurements utilizing multimeterUse several types of small hand tools and calibrated equipmentConduct Final Acceptance Testing on multiple programsRotate to and from Cleanroom lab environmentsThis is a 1st shift, onsite position in Goleta, CAQualifications You Must HaveHS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.Manufacturing Test experienceQualifications We PreferExperience with IR Systems, Focal Plane Assembly packaging processesExperience with FOD and FOD-prevention methodsExperience with ESD protocolsExperience with Cryogenic gases and liquidsMatlab, David Core, or Testlib knowledgeWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
