Subsidiary Steel of West Virginia Overview Steel of West Virginia, Inc., a subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, Inc. operates a steel mill located in Huntington, WV and adjacent to Marshall University. SWVA supplies specialty long rolled steel beams and channels as well as semi-finished weldments via our three rolling mills and robotic weld and material handling lines. We also have a weekly PRODUCTION BONUS for all departments! The Production Worker Entry Level Pay is $21.49 per hour. Double-time is paid on seventh consecutive day worked. Rate increases every six months until full rate ($26.86) is reached at 18 month anniversary (per current union contract). Production Workers at our finishing lines then custom finish structural beams, channels, and special shape steel sections to customer specifications. Qualifications You must meet the following qualifications: Possess a high school diploma or GED Be drug free A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations Ability to work in all types of weather conditions Ability to stand/work for long periods of time Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively on a regular basis Must be self-motivated team player, anxious and willing to learn new skills Perform other duties as required Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. #J-18808-Ljbffr Steel-Dynamic
