Pay Range: $60/Hr $65/Hr From Hiring Manager

Unique Request for Angio Techs - On Call Only

We have a unique request for 2 Angio Techs - on call only. They must be local to the Salinas area and can arrive to the facility within 30 minutes of being called in. We are looking for someone that can hopefully hit the ground running and is an experienced Angio Tech.

Certifications

• Fluoroscopy

Job Duties

• Performs at least two separate modality diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures such as: CT's, angiography of the following areas: neuro, abdominal, chest and extremities. Assists physicians in performing other fluoroscopic procedures as needed.
• Cares for patients during procedures by assisting them to rest rooms, giving them blankets, etc. Prepares patients for their exams.
• Monitors patient condition pre and post-procedure and reports changes in the patient's condition to others for follow-up.
• Transports patients by stretcher, bed, wheelchair, or walking. Provides care for patients during transportation and in the department, if necessary.
• Assists patients by lifting and moving them off and on the x-ray table. Provides bedpans and urinals as needed. Assures that patients are properly dressed for their procedures.
• Performs related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions, assists others, and special assignments. Cleans work area and replenishes supplies.
• Assists with emergency medical treatment under physician direction.
• Assists with the scheduling of patient exams.
• Attends regularly scheduled department meetings and in-services.
• Technologist may give contrast medias and may flush lines with normal saline contrast/normal saline.
• Under direct supervision of the Radiologist, the technologist may pull Xilocaine for procedure.
• Under direct supervision of the Radiologist, the technologist may use heparinized saline to flush catheters.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) certified by the State of New Jersey and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified from National Minority Supplier Development Council.
