Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel Contract) Location San Antonio, TX Schedule / Job Type Contract / Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across a variety of acuity levels Perform and assist with procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care (TPA administration), and chest pain/heart alert protocols Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care Adhere to all facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific guidelines and policies Required Qualifications Active Texas RN License – Temporary licenses will not be accepted Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Current PALS or ENPC certification Current TNCC certification Current NIHSS certification Preferred Experience / Skills Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) designation Prior experience with Meditech documentation system Strong teamwork and communication skills in a high-acuity clinical environment Why Join Us Join a well-established Emergency Department team with guaranteed hours and a structured 13-week travel assignment Gain experience in a full-service emergency unit performing a wide range of high-acuity procedures and protocols Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 772632.
