The Restaurant Assistant General Manager plays a key role in supporting the overall management of a medium-sized team, typically consisting of 10-30 staff. Reporting directly to the Owner/Partner, this position ensures smooth daily operations through effective staff supervision, budget oversight, quality control, and regulatory compliance. The role is largely onsite with rare or no travel expected and offers strong opportunities for career advancement toward a General Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support restaurant staff to maintain high performance and morale
• Manage the restaurant budget, including cost control and financial reporting
• Ensure quality assurance standards are consistently met
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and other regulatory requirements

• 5+ years experience in restaurant management
