Travel School Speech Therapist | Providence, Rhode Island

Providing speech-language support for students in a dynamic school setting in Providence, RI, this full-time travel position offers the opportunity to work with K-8th grade students who have severe and behavioral needs. Dedicated professionals with credentials such as SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or School SLP experience are well-suited to thrive in this role.


Key qualifications and experience desired:

• Certification and license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or equivalent)
• Experience working with K-8 students, preferably within school environments
• Ability to manage a caseload involving severe and behavioral needs
• Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit to work effectively with staff and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to succeed in a travel-based assignment

Location: Providence, RI (travel assignment)


Responsibilities include:

• Providing speech-language therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students in grades K-8
• Collaborating closely with a super supportive educational team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Managing and documenting progress for a caseload of students with severe and behavioral challenges
• Participating in meetings and contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment
• Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services
