Senior ECU Test Engineer

The Senior ECU Test Engineer will be responsible for Hardware in the Loop (HiL) testing of ECUs with PACCAR Electronics developed software. Join us as we grow and deliver PACCAR’s future in connectivity, cybersecurity, electrification, and autonomous systems.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure requirements are covered by defined test cases while ensuring quality.Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team of software development, electrical engineering, control system development, information technology and other test engineers.Lead test planning and execution within area of responsibility.Provide technical mentorship to develop test engineers on team.Identify and lead implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency, including increasing test automation.Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline. 7+ years of professional experience in a related engineering field, including 3 or more years in a vehicle software development or testing role.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities.Experience solving complex technical problems using lean or six sigma methodologies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.Preferred Qualifications & SkillsExperience with design & release of automotive or commercial vehicle systems.Experience testing software against requirements using virtualization and/or automation.
